About me

Welcome to my page. Here you can learn about my journey, my passions, and what makes my writing unique. I'm excited to share my story with you.

What makes me different

My written works consist of a variety of genres including creative non-fiction, fiction, science fiction, historical fiction, historic adaptation and adaptation theory research. LGBTQIA+ subjects, disability studies, parenthood, womanhood, the passage of time, love and loss, family and sexuality are among some of the research and topics that are more often highlighted in my work.

My goals

I want my work to inspire critical thinking, a questioning of what we have known, what we know and how important absolution is to our ability to cope with lived experience and the passage of time. I want my writing to challenge the reader to consider what, who and why something is included or discluded, what people talk about, and what people notice in a story or film.

Proudest moments

Graduating with honors from Coastal Carolina University (CCU) with both a bachelors degree in English and a bachelors degree in Women's and Gender Studies after eight years of learning, working, and fighting to survive the challenges of the world while working towards my degrees is my proudest moment. I am also proud to have interned on a global feminism book project with both Dr. Pillai and Dr. Seethaler of CCU.

Language is not only a construct, a shelter, an edifice, an abode, but the soul of humanity - container of infinity.

William SBurroughs.
