Editing internship experience

During my editing internship I assisted Dr. Ina Seethaler and Dr. Pillai on Global Feminist Theory book project. We travelled to Duke University for the Feminist Theories conference to hold in-person interviews for the book with Dr. Ina Seethaler and Dr. Pillai

I performed note taking and editing for in-person and virtual interviews, assessed and systemized the software used for transcribing interviews, executed transcription for interviews by highlighting key points or quotes, editing mistakes in the transcribed document, and recording information on terms that the transcription software could not identify. I also reviewed and documented AI transcription software errors to evaluate how those errors affected the transcription and editing process as well as how that informs chapter development.
